Welcome to Little House Jewellery

My name is Anna and for the past five years the 'Little House' is the place where all the jewellery I design and make begins life.

Occasionally I dabble in a little fused glass or knitted wire. However, my first love is making glass beads and glass bead jewellery.

Each bead starts as a coloured glass rod, which is melted, manipulated and formed around a mandrel (steel rod) in a flame. From there is the bead is cooled very slowly in a kiln ensuring that the bead is strong and won't crack or break. Lastly they are cleaned before I make them in to highly individual and unique pieces of jewellery.

In recent years I have demonstrated glass bead making at local shows and for the past three years I have been part of the Isle of Wight Arts Open Studios.
